Online shopping is the purchase of anything we make online. With the advent of all new technology, it has made our life so easy and simple that everything can be obtained just at the edge of fingers. If you want to buy some household stuff, you just need to connect yourself to the internet and shop whatever you want.

This is the most important question everyone get when they hear about online shopping. Online shopping do require you to pay the money online itself and hence we have online modes of payment. Such modes of payment include mainly credit card. There are other means too, but the credit card one is the most accepted and used. If you have a visa card, you can use it to buy anything online. "Anything" I said, because almost all online shops accept visa card. The other popular way is that of paypal. Paypal is also widely accepted, but to use a paypal account, your account should be verified. Verified paypal account is the one which has an approved credit card or debit card added into the account.

It all depends how wisely you stay online. Its your responsibility to keep yourself safe. Here are few very basic tips.

1. Buy from trusted sources. Trusted sites will always use https protocol with security certificate. There are many sites which may offer the same product. You always have to see the one which is trusted. If you are new, take guidance from consultants or any seniors who have experience.
2. Keep your computer safe. Even if you buy from a trusted source, there are chances that you will be hacked. That is because a trojan or spyware running on your system. Always keep your system clean using different antivirus, antispyware tools. This will keep you safe.

Example: Say, you want to buy a product from Dell computers, it becomes your responsibility to select and purchase a from a branded company / website. Someone may sell you the same product from Dell computers at a cost which is not even offered by the company. Say, company sells it for $10, it becomes your intelligence not to choose the seller who offer the same product for $5 or even less than that. In all these deals, experience plays a important role that you will not be cheated.
