It has been some time I have dealt with personal computer things. Today we shall see what are all the "very important" things you can see in a CPU cabinet box. Of course, most of these things are really interesting to know. I love to participate in such discussions going on at different Technology Forum. The reason I love forums is that there you can get updated with real time knowledge and information. If you browse through some old site, you will be updated with old information, but active forums provide you with complete updates.

Coming on to computer CPU, today, I shall deal with very 4 important things. The power you get for your pc from mains can not be directly fed to PC components, so we need a power regulator. That job is done by SMPS – Switched mode power supply. It regulates the power so as to suit different components in your computer. Also, keep in mind all your components run on different voltages, current and power. SMPS provides different outputs for different components.
Next, the important Motherboard. The printed circuit board which occupies most of your cpu space is motherboard. It is the one which coordinates every process in your pc. It is usually green, blue, red or yellow in color. It houses all components required for a computer.
Processor and memory are very important for any job to be done. Processor is that which does the actual job and it uses memory to store temporary data. We also need secondary storage devices like hard disk to store the data we use in our day to day life.
With all these, a computer is ready. But it wont make you everything, we need much more… lets end the session for today.

I’m disappointed – whatever happened to those quick release catches that allowed module removal/insertion at the same time as removing all the skin off your knuckles?
